These are examples to start from. In setup you choose your own services and prices, and whether each one books instantly, comes in as a request, or is an estimate visit. We change them with you whenever you ask.

How capacity works for you
- Wait-here jobs fill your lifts: set how many cars can wait at once.
- Drop-offs are capped per half hour and per day, so mornings never pile up.
- Block days off and holidays, or set a lower cap for a short-staffed day.
- Phone and walk-in bookings go in the same calendar in two taps, so online customers only see what’s really open.
Questions
Can I choose which jobs book on their own?
Yes. You set it per service. Oil changes and tire swaps can book instantly, while brakes or a check engine light come to you as requests that you confirm or move.
Do I have to stop using my paper book?
No. Counterbell can be your calendar, or you can keep your book and we hold a few spots a day for online bookings that you copy over.
What does the driver need to book?
A name and a phone number. There’s no account, no app and no password.
I already use Tekmetric or Shopmonkey. Is this for me?
Probably not. Those shops can get booking from their own software. Counterbell is for shops on paper, a whiteboard, Google Calendar or older software.
